Porcupine Quills

Porcupine Quills are great for using to inscribe on candles for your candle magic. They are great for using in any protection ritual due to their nature of protecting the porcupine from predators. Other magical uses include:  defense magic, cursing/hexing, inner strength, and uncrossing.

These are the extraordinary quills of the crested porcupine, the only porcupine found on the African continent. Its quills are thicker, longer, and stronger than its North American cousins, and some would say - more strikingly beautiful. Lightweight, yet powerful and strong, these are a testament to the effectiveness of natural selection and evolution. They keep this fascinating animal safe, and are quite pretty as well. 

These quills are 5-7 inches in length.
