Samhain Ancestor & Protection 7-Day Fixed Candle

Samhain Ancestor & Protection 7-Day Fixed Candle

Samhain, observed from October 31 to November 1, began as an ancient Celtic festival marking the end of the harvest and the turn toward winter. People believed the veil between the living and the dead grew thin, so they lit bonfires, set out food and drink, and honored the departed. Later folk Christianity folded these customs into All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days. Many of those practices crossed the Atlantic and blended with African-rooted ancestor veneration to become part of American hoodoo.

In hoodoo, the ancestors are your first line of spiritual defense. Honoring them opens a clear line of communication, invites their guidance, and calls on their watchful protection over you, your family, and your home.

This purple 7-day candle is fixed with our Ancestor Oil and Protection Oil, a pairing made for exactly that work. Purple is the color of spiritual power and reverence. Light it on your ancestor altar beside photographs, a glass of fresh water, and a small offering. Speak the names of your beloved dead and ask for their guidance and for protection against harmful influences.

To use: Place in a heat-safe holder on a stable surface. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children, pets, and flammable items.

Available for the Samhain season only, through October 31. Order yours before the veil closes.

We will dress and bless your Ancestors 7-Day Fixed Candle with therapeutic-grade essential and conditioning oils, organic herbs, high-quality minerals, and powerful intention prayer.

Each candle is custom-made and takes time to prepare. We do not mass-produce, so by nature it may take a few extra days to prepare. Variations in color may occur from candle to candle.

•Do not leave the candle burning unsupervised. Please use a heat-resistant container or surface for safety.
